Our Policies
Group Classes
-
Classes are run in 4-week sessions. The sessions always start at the beginning of the month. Classes are 1 hour long unless otherwise indicated and are held on the same day of the week at the same time, for 4 consecutive weeks.
-
Class sizes depend on the size of the studio or ballroom we are teaching in. All classes are subject to cancellation if the minimum enrollment is not met.
-
No Partner? No Worries! You do not need a partner for our classes—we rotate partners during the class. In addition to dancing with a friend or mate, you’ll meet the other students and improve your lead and follow skills.
-
Please wear comfortable clothing and soft-soled shoes. Ladies may wear high heels. Leather sole shoes work best. If necessary, we will help you get dance shoes made for the type of dance you are learning.

Registration
-
We highly suggest pre-registration, as we do not have additional staff on premises to process in-person registrations, so these transactions will take away the instructor’s time from actually teaching.
-
Your registration will also ensure that classes meet the minimum registration threshold to run or, in the opposite scenario, that you secure a spot in the class before it is full (after that you will be placed on a waiting list).
-
Class registrations are final and non-refundable.
-
Class credits may be issued if students cancel registration before the start date of the class.
-
Class credits expire or must be redeemed (90 days) from the issued date.

Private Lessons
Lessons are scheduled at times when no group classes are in session. Lessons are available seven days a week as the studio’s schedule allows. If you are unable to make your pre-scheduled lesson appointment, please call to reschedule at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled time in order to avoid being charged for the lesson.
